Through the analysis of thiamine intersecting genes, we found that although there are many thiamine-associated metabolic enzymes (such as TKT, NQO1, CAT, SOD1, CYP2E1, etc.), we still identified potential target proteins, PPARG, FABP4, AQP7, and TLR4, that have small molecule binding pockets and are closely related to obesity. This evidence concerns the gene NQO1 and obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
