Through the analysis of thiamine intersecting genes, we found that although there are many thiamine-associated metabolic enzymes (such as TKT, NQO1, CAT, SOD1, CYP2E1, etc.), we still identified potential target proteins, PPARG, FABP4, AQP7, and TLR4, that have small molecule binding pockets and are closely related to obesity. The gene discussed is CYP2E1; the disease is obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
