TGM2 and celiac disease: Conversely, FT1D was independently associated with a higher probability of testing positive for extra-pancreatic autoantibodies (OR = 1.78, 95% CI: 1.21–2.61, p = 0.003) and anti-tissue transglutaminase antibodies (OR = 1.64, 95% CI: 1.05–2.56, p = 0.031), indicating an increased susceptibility to associated autoimmune comorbidities, particularly celiac disease.
