LOWESS smoothing of SHAP values was applied to identify zero-crossing points, which serve as model-derived thresholds beyond which the likelihood of autoimmune encephalitis begins to increase for key laboratory features: CSF cell count 14.32 cells/μL, CSF protein 0.67 g/L, serum CRP 6.85 mg/L, and CSF glucose 3.31 mmol/L (Figure 5).
