Compared with the SIRS cohort, Sepsis_D patients exhibited higher levels of Calprotectin (p = 0.0072), Azurocidin (p < 0.0001), IL-4 (p = 0.0112), IL-8 (p = 0.0015), IL-10 (p = 0.0007), TNF-α (p = 0.0198), and IL-35 (p < 0.0001). Here, AZU1 is linked to systemic inflammatory response syndrome.
