Five weeks after myocardial infarction (MI), a midline thoracotomy was performed and 50 μL of 0.5% bovine serum albumin for group 1, 2 × 106 cells in 0.5% BSA for group 2, 50 μL of fibrin for group 3, or 2 × 106 cells in fibrin for group 4 was intramuscularly injected into the infarct scar. This evidence concerns the gene ALB and myocardial infarction.
