Our findings supplement and in part corroborate two recent studies evaluating FRα immunohistochemistry in ovarian cancer: Zannoni et al. [10] demonstrated in a multicentre analysis using the VENTANA FOLR1 (FOLR1-2.1) RxDx Assay that interobserver reproducibility of FRα scoring is generally high while the estimation of percentage of positive tumor cells, although borderline cases near the 75% cut-off remain a source of interpretative variability.
