In a large German study analyzing RNA-based NGS data from 3309 NSCLC patients, 21 FGFR3::TACC3-positive cases (0.63%) were identified, predominantly among male patients with a median age of 69 years, a higher prevalence of squamous cell carcinoma, and favorable responses to immunotherapy. This evidence concerns the gene FGFR3 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
