Multivariate linear regression analysis of the CD44v9 score and clinical factors confirmed that tumor location (regression coefficient [β], 0.306; 95% CI, 0.275–1.403; p = 0.004) and serum CEA level (β, 0.213; 95% CI, 0.020–1.190; p = 0.043) were independent predictors.
