This is probably owing to the ability of bleomycin to promote the apoptosis of vascular endothelial cells, reduce neovascularization, and ultimately inhibit hemangioma growth by specifically binding to vascular endothelial cell DNA, inhibiting the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor, and regulating the p53/B-cell lymphoma-2 pathway [3,8,24,25,26,27]. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and hemangioma.
