In summary, [18F]FDG PET/CT is not the imaging modality of first choice in prostate cancer, but it can supplement [68Ga]Ga-PSMA-11, [18F]18F-DCFPyL, and [18F]18F-JK-PSMA-7 and provide valuable information on how to select patients who are more likely to benefit from RLT; it can also provide information on prostatic cancer grade for differentiation and for assessing disease aggressiveness (Figure 2) [28].
