Receiver operator characteristic (ROC) and hazard ratio (HR) analyses demonstrated that the biomarker score was correlated with response to anti–programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) therapy in a cohort of patients with kidney cancer and correlated with better overall survival in patients with cancer treated with anti–programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1) and anti–cytotoxic T-lymphocyte–associated protein 4 therapies. The gene discussed is CD274; the disease is kidney cancer.
