MBP and alkaline phosphatase measurement: After adjusting for age, sex, ethnicity, marital status, MBP, creatinine, BUN, phosphate, SOFA, BISAP, antibiotic therapy, mechanical ventilation use, vasopressor use, RRT, and enteral nutrition, we observed that, compared with a low HCT-ALB (< 0.5) quantile, a high HCT-ALB value (≥ 7.6) was associated with an increased risk of sepsis in patients with AP.
