Through a retrospective analysis of 171 patients, this study first identified significant differences in prognostic indicators between groups: levels of HBP, IL-6, lactate (Lac), PCT, CRP, and SOFA scores in the non-survival group were significantly higher than those in the survival group (all P < 0.05), with a higher positive rate of blood culture and a higher proportion of gram-negative bacterial infections. The gene discussed is CRP; the disease is gram-negative bacterial infections.
