There was a significant genotype x treatment interaction in CA3 (F(1, 16) = 6.658, p = 0.0201; Fig. 8j), where it appeared that DSP-4 reduced GFAP immunoreactivity in WT animals and increased it in TgF344-AD animals, but Šidák-corrected post-hoc analyses did not reveal any significant pairwise differences. This evidence concerns the gene GFAP and Alzheimer disease.
