Participants in the optimal vitamin E group (> 30 μmol/L) were more likely to be older, female, non‐Hispanic White, possess a college education or higher, have a higher PIR, have lower total IgE levels, be non‐smokers, report no depressive symptoms, sleep 6–7 h per night, and have no history of hay fever or asthma. This evidence concerns the gene IGHE and asthma.
