We suppressed PFKFB3 expression to examine survival of the irradiated HCC cells on high‐stiffness substrate, and discovered that PFKFB3 knockdown not only resulted in an obvious decrease in the survival of the irradiated cells on high‐stiffness substrate (Figure S6A), but also impeded DNA damage repair in the irradiated cells on high‐stiffness substrate (Figure 5C; Figure S6B). The gene discussed is PFKFB3; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
