It follows that cystathionine could be elevated in a subset of IDH‐wildtype gliomas and thus noninvasive identification of oligodendroglioma, which is defined as an IDH‐mutant 1p/19q‐codeleted glioma [14], may necessitate MRS of both 2HG and cystathionine.
