There were statistically significant differences (P < 0.05) in heart rate, prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), blood glucose, uric acid, serum potassium, total serum cholesterol, hs-TnI, NT-proBNP, aortic root diameter, LAD, LVEDD, LVEF, FS, ESV, and diabetes between the two groups. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and diabetes mellitus.
