Initial investigations (Table 1) revealed pancytopenia, elevated inflammatory markers (C-reactive protein (CRP) and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR)), hyperferritinemia (32,531 ng/mL), hypertriglyceridemia (11.5 mmol/L), elevated lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) (539 IU/L), and hypofibrinogenemia (0.3 g/L). Cultures (blood, urine, respiratory) and imaging (chest X-ray, MRI brain) were unremarkable. Here, CRP is linked to Pancytopenia.
