To investigate the molecular mechanism underlying NF-κB role in BC progression, we performed RT-qPCR assays to characterize NF-κB expression levels, along with its EMT-related target genes TWIST1, SNAIL, and SLUG, in two well-established breast cancer cell lines representing the HER2+ and TNBC subtypes: HCC-1954 and MDA-MB-231, respectively (Fig. 1C). Here, TWIST1 is linked to breast cancer.
