Using data from patients (n = 1091) obtained during the Breast Invasive Carcinoma (TCGA, Firehose Legacy) study, we conducted a comparative analysis of NIS (SLC5A5) mRNA expression in two subgroups, the FOXA-1-Wild-type (FOXA1-WT; n = 854) and FOXA1-mutated group, including driver mutations, gain mutations, and amplifications (FOXA1-M; n = 237). Here, FOXA1 is linked to invasive breast carcinoma.
