GH1 and Insulin resistance: showed that after 1 year of GH treatment, the increase in HOMA-IR in children with GHD was significantly higher than that in the control group; however, after 5 years of GH treatment, there was no significant difference in HOMA-IR between children with GHD and the control group at 5 years, suggesting that the degree of insulin resistance after long-term treatment is consistent with the physiological changes in healthy pubertal children (17).
