While IFN response proteins ISG15 and IFIT1 were upregulated in IFNα-treated SCA CD34+, no basal activation of these proteins was found in untreated SCA CD34+ from day 5 to day 10 of myeloid differentiation (Figure 5I), suggesting that IFN signaling in CD34+ is not maintained during their myeloid differentiation. Here, CD34 is linked to autosomal dominant cerebellar ataxia.
