The results validated known adverse reactions of fenofibric acid, such as kidney injury, hepatobiliary toxicity, pancreatitis, and allergic reactions, while also finding some potential adverse reactions with strong correlation with fenofibric acid, such as gout, hypoglycemia, prothrombin time prolonged, photosensitivity reactions, rash, blood creatine and creatinine increased, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, myalgia, muscle fatigue, pain in extremity, joint pain and headache. This evidence concerns the gene F2 and Myalgia.
