ALB and acute kidney injury: After multivariable adjustment for age, metastatic status, CCI and APACHE II scores, diabetes, heart failure, peripheral white blood cell count, albumin, and haemoglobin, hypochloraemia remained independently associated with an increased risk of AKI (OR 1.87, 95% CI 1.14-2.60; P = 0.013) compared with the normochloraemia stratum.
