NINJ1 and atherosclerosis: To elucidate the molecular mechanisms by which Ninj1 promotes atherosclerosis, we performed transcriptomic sequencing of Ninj1-silenced HUVECs, identifying 430 differentially expressed genes (DEGs; |log2FC| >1, FDR <0.05), including 350 upregulated and 80 downregulated genes (Figure 3A).
