A higher proportion in the highest hsCRP tertile received an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEi) or angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) (n = 87, 24.3 %; p < 0.001), primarily for hypertension (n = 85, 23.7 %; p < 0.001), whereas beta-blocker and sodium glucose-cotransporter 2-inhibitor (SGLT2i) use was comparable across tertiles. Here, ACE is linked to hypertensive disorder.
