Genes involved in lipid metabolism, including Fabp4, CD36, and Cav1, were selectively upregulated in skin-derived TRM cells (gene set 2), reflecting metabolic adaptations to epithelial niches, and transcriptional regulators (Zfp36, Crem, Runx2, Socs3, Dusp5, Klf6, and Fosl2) were upregulated solely in the tumor-rejected skin TRM group. Here, FOSL2 is linked to neoplasm.
