Additionally, tests of the righting reflex at P9, a commonly used assay for mouse pup motor capability and strength, revealed that DTA-ablations of CeAPDYN+SST+ neurons resulted in longer latencies to right (Hazard ratio 0.62 [95% c.i. 0.41–0.95], p=0.028) (Fig 5e), which may be associated with a loss of strength associated with reductions in body weight and failure to thrive.
