Compared with CON participants and LAD CTO patients with CCC Grade 3, LAD CTO patients with CCC Grade 2 showed an increased upregulation of TNF-α/IL1β/IL8, TLR4/MYD88/NF-κB, and TGF-β1/ROS (p < 0.002), and LAD CTO patients with CCC Grade 0 had higher levels of TNF-α/IL1β/IL8, TLR4/MYD88/NF-κB, and TGF-β1/ROS compared with LAD CTO patients with CCC Grades 1 and 2 (p < 0.002; Figure 7a,b). The gene discussed is CXCL8; the disease is leukocyte adhesion deficiency.
