Clinical characteristic comparisons between groups showed that the CMTs(+)NTS(+) group exhibited more critical clinical features than the CMTs(−)NTS(+) group: a higher proportion of patients with impaired consciousness, a greater rate of invasive procedures, significantly elevated inflammatory markers (WBC, NEU, CRP), and reduced ALB—findings indicative of more severe infection and intense systemic inflammatory response. The gene discussed is CRP; the disease is infection.
