Functional annotation of upregulated genes highlighted at least 9 myeloid leukemia-associated genes (FLT3, RUNX1, CD33, HMGB1, ERG, CBFA2T3, G6PC3, D2HGDH, UHRF1), 35 other tumor progression-related genes (e.g., MAP2K2/3, MKI67, KEAP1, HSP90AA1), and 6 potential oncogenes (e.g., LINC00539, LINC01137). Here, CD33 is linked to myeloid leukemia.
