The MGMT promoter methylation status in glioblastoma is typically determined through molecular methods such as methylation‐specific polymerase chain reaction (MSPCR) or pyrosequencing, with the latter providing quantitative analysis6, 7 Although these methods offered more precise information and used as gold standard in clinical, mentioned laboratory examinations for MGMT status are invasive, expensive, and time‐consuming. This evidence concerns the gene MGMT and glioblastoma.
