GNAI1 and Anxiety: In the EPMT, representative activity traces (Fig. 6F) and quantified data show that compared with rats in the Gi+CNO− group, rats in the Gi+CNO+ group made more entries into the OA (Fig. 6G, n = 6 rats for each group, unpaired Student’s t test, p = 0.0046), spent more time in the OA (Fig. 6H, n = 6 rats for each group, Mann-Whitney test, p = 0.0022), and exhibited a lower anxiety index (Fig. 6I, n = 6 for each group, unpaired Student’s t test, p = 0.0059).
