CRP and metabolic syndrome: The results show that increased age (HR = 1.023, 95% CI 1.003–1.044; P = 0.027), dyslipidemia (HR = 2.482, 95% CI 1.315–4.686; P = 0.005), CRP levels (HR = 1.007, 95% CI 1.000–1.014; P = 0.044), and having 10 or more CMBs (HR = 1.748, 95% CI 1.004–3.744; P = 0.049) significantly increased the risk of major endpoint events.
