Among these significant interactions, we identified specific interactions between the ALS/FTD-associated RNA-binding proteins, EWSR1, FUS, and hnRNAP2B1 and the type I HSP40 chaperone YDJ1, the chaperonin containing TCP-1 (CCT) subunit CCT6, and the small heat shock protein HSP42, respectively. This evidence concerns the gene TCP1 and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
