A previous study of colorectal cancer cases examined the relationship of serum Fn antibodies with tissue Fn DNA status and found that the rate of positive for Fn antibodies in patients with a high amount of Fn in tissue was significantly greater than in those negative for Fn, while the levels of Fn IgA and IgG antibodies in colorectal cancer patients were higher as compared to healthy controls [32]. Here, FN1 is linked to colorectal cancer.
