In pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, PSMD11 and its related subunit PSMD14 are overexpressed, with higher abundance levels correlating with increased tumor malignancy and disease progression (39), and another study demonstrated that PSMD11 may serve as potential prognostic and diagnostic biomarkers in patients with early-stage disease (40). This evidence concerns the gene PSMD11 and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
