A comprehensive analysis of CD36 expression across various tumor types in the TCGA database revealed that CD36 was generally downregulated in most tumors, including bladder cancer, lung adenocarcinoma, and cholangiocarcinoma, while it was upregulated in a few tumors, such as glioblastoma and kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (Figure S1A). This evidence concerns the gene CD36 and glioblastoma.
