ELF1 has been previously reported as a potential biomarker for SLE [43], with established roles in disease susceptibility [44] and reduced TCR zeta chain expression in SLE patients [45].To our knowledge, this is the first study to demonstrate that ELF1 contributes to Treg dysfunction in ITP by transcriptionally activating RSAD2, providing new mechanistic insights into the dysregulation of Treg-mediated immune tolerance in autoimmune disease.
