At PFDR < 0.05, eight CSF proteins (APOE, PILRA-M14, PILRA-deltaTM, FcRIIIa, BGAT, PLA2R, TIMD3, TPSNR) and four plasma proteins (EPHB4, HTRA1, PILRA-M14, PILRA-deltaTM) were associated with dementia, while one CSF protein (BGAT) and one plasma protein (FBLN3) were associated with any stroke and ischemic stroke (Supplementary Tables 20–22). The gene discussed is APOE; the disease is stroke disorder.
