The CLL was excluded based on the clinical course. CD5-positive extranodal marginal zone (MALT) lymphoma is very rare, with reported primary sites including the cervical, axillary, and gastroepiploic lymph nodes [43], as well as the ocular region [44], whereas no cases originating in the larynx have been reported. Here, CD5 is linked to B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
