Conversely, upon overexpressing PKM2 in renal cancer cells with stable TKT knockdown (Supplementary Fig. S1A), we observed that such overexpression reversed the TKT knockdown-induced metabolic alterations, leading to elevated glucose uptake (Supplementary Fig. S1B), lactate production (Supplementary Fig. S1C), and ATP levels (Supplementary Fig. S1D).
