In this study, we investigate the chimeric TF NUP98-HOXA9 (NHA9), one of the most common NUP98 fusion proteins resulting from the t(7;11)(p15;p15) chromosomal translocation, which is associated with acute myeloid leukaemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, and chronic myeloid leukaemia23–25. The gene discussed is NUP98; the disease is myelodysplastic syndrome.
