Several investigations have indicated a notable decrease in serum lipid profiles, fasting glucose levels, insulin resistance, insulin, HbA1c, interleukin‐6, TNF‐α, CRP, and liver enzymes aspartate aminotransferase, alanine transaminase after consumption of propolis [10, 11] and increase HDL‐C [11]. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and Insulin resistance.
