Compared to sham controls, the MI/R group showed significant elevations in cardiac injury markers: cardiac troponin I (cTnI) levels increased by 28.08% (p < 0.001), creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB) by 64.46% (p < 0.01), and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) by 58.27% (p < 0.01).
