Using IHC-Ki67, a treatment-induced reduction in proliferation (HL) was associated with a more favorable prognosis compared to a persistent high proliferation (HH) after exposure to NACT (Fig. 7a; HR=0.96,95 %CI: 0.38–2.44, p = 0.93), and the difference remained statistically insignificant after adjusting for baseline PgR status, tumor size, and age (HR=0.85, 95 %CI: 0.31–2.34, p = 0.75). The gene discussed is MKI67; the disease is neoplasm.
