Performance comparison with known immune response signatures revealed that ALDOA alone achieved an AUC of 0.7847 for predicting immunotherapy response, which was comparable to or even superior than most established multi-gene signatures, including T cell-inflamed GEP (AUC = 0.7763), CAF (AUC = 0.6579), TAM M2 (AUC = 0.6513), IFNG (AUC = 0.6645), CD8 (AUC = 0.6645), CD274 (AUC = 0.8421), TLS (AUC = 0.7566), and TLS-melanoma (AUC = 0.7171) (Fig. 5J). This evidence concerns the gene IFNG and melanoma.
