These findings were aligned with the study conducted by Sutedja et al. [19] and Nada et al. [20] In a study conducted by Belgaumkar et al., [21] they revealed that the average IL-6 serum levels in leprosy-type mid-borderline (BB), BL, and lepromatous leprosy (LL) patients were significantly higher compared to the non-leprosy group. Here, IL6 is linked to lepromatous leprosy.
