The enhanced immune function by pomalidomide has been implicated in improved clinical outcomes in some cancers, with pomalidomide treatment associated with greater polyfunctional T-cells, and interferon-γ (IFNγ) and tumour necrosis factor (TNF)-α-producing NK cells in lenalidomide-refractory relapsed myeloma.18 This evidence concerns the gene TNF and plasma cell myeloma.
